Problem Statement

After market research, the client wants to come up with a product that fulfills all solutions related to property management. One platform that covers essential services related to real estate to all the multiple property owners, Lawyers & bank managers. The aim of the client was to develop a product that manage countless properties effectively with no stress. Property owner can verify property details instantly with real-time government records data and information available on the public platform. This aim includes speed up the pre-sanction of mortgage loans, detect property frauds and curtail property related malpractice decisions.

User control and freedom

In every journey there is too much repetitive content that is not helping user to interact with app smoothly. “Mann Ki Baat” tab is there in “Home” tab & “NAMO” tab. By sorting content in proper manner it can be categorized smartly and it will saves lots of time. It also helps user to interact with the app intuitively. On Home screen it becomes very difficult to recognize the card or a separate section like popular stories, In the News.
Many content items are hidden under my profile section which becomes hard to reach for the first time visitor.

The change in screen layout is quite confusing when user goes from one screen to another, lacks consistency and standards. When user is scrolling down, it is hard to differentiate the card and section that has different type of content.

There are tabs with leading icon and with no icon on top headers which is inconsistent visually. The type of content is hard to predict in case of the tab with no icons.

User control and freedom

The current version has false affordance(Mann ki baat - the card is a content for podcast) when it comes to clicking on button or card and the design also lacks the progressive harmony in case of size of text that helps to make content more readable.
There are tabs with leading icon and with no icon on top headers failed to convey the content type as there is no inconsistency and with no icon on tab are not recognizable.

Flexibility and efficiency of use

Multiple items are hidden in profile section which has potential to hook the user when they visit this app for first time. By rethinking about categories for all type of contents can give user more smooth and flexible journey that reduces no of clicks and user will be able to interact easily for every case.

After close observation there is an absence of consistency in type scale in each and every component through out the app. The font family also different in each cards and the used font in Hindi is also disturbing the consistency and the overall aesthetics of this app.
With the defined type scale that has progressive increment in scale, the consistency can be achieved very easily. Three types of chips have been used throughout the app which is also breaking consistency.
